Benbrook is home to excellent schools. Our administrators and teachers represent some of the very best that Fort Worth ISD has to offer. By working together as a community, we can help ensure that every classroom is well resourced, educators are supported and encouraged, and every student has the tools they need to succeed academically.
Home Values & Taxes
Benbrook residents benefit from strong household incomes and solid home values. We can also be proud of a very reasonable tax rate, especially when compared to other cities in Tarrant County and in light of the high level of services provided by the City. I am committed to protecting home values, maintaining high-quality city services, and keeping taxes as low as possible.
Citywide Concerns
Addressing issues across the city is my top priority—there’s no kicking the can down the road. I focus on pragmatic, creative solutions that benefit the City and all of its residents, and on making things happen. From time to time, difficult challenges arise that require our collective attention. I listen carefully, review the data, seek to understand, and focus on the facts before making a decision. Solving tough problems must include the input and feedback of our residents, because the best solutions are built together.
Efficient & Supportive Government
Local government should always strive for effectiveness and efficiency. Benbrook may not be perfect—nothing is—but it is a well-run city with an outstanding staff managing a lean budget. I am committed to continuing fiscal prudence and responsibility while supporting innovative approaches that enhance transparency, effectiveness, and efficiency in serving our residents.
